Whisper of Runes – a side-project of Alexey (M8L8TH) and his wife Ekaterina. The first full-length album “Templum Victoriae” was released back in 2014. The album delivers a unique mix of authentic Slavic folk music and acoustic ballads with heavy guitars and rock beats.
Whisper of Runes offers a calm and harmonious sound, putting forward an ideologically charged poetry. The album features Denis Gerasimov – the leader of the famous Russian WP-band Kolovrat as a guest vocalist on the first two tracks.

€10.00New blood joins the Heretics’ Camp – the band Arkuda from the Syberian Irkutsk released a new album under the Militant Zone label. The title of the album takes us back to the origins of the Indo-European language – Proto-Slavic Stъga. This word consists of 5 letters – 4 are written in Latin and one in Cyrillic. These are the two main alphabets used by all European peoples today. Later versions of this word in different languages have a different spelling: стезя (path), стежка, stezà, śćdzа, stëg, tikas, Στίχος and others. But this variant of writing the Path wasn’t chosen by chance – it emphasizes the points of contact between the cultures of one mother – Europe. As it should be in 2020, the band appeals to the heritage of the European race and to the images of the abyss that this race faces today. Whisper of Runes – Centuries-old Winter (CD, 2012)
€8.00One of the few albums in musical history recorded literally behind the bars. Lyrics and vocals for this experimental album by Whisper of Runes were recorded by Alexey of M8L8TH during his incarceration back in 2006-2011. “All musical projects evolve in their endless searches for the perfection, yet only few of them stay true to the ideas which once were laid in their foundation. Because the musical forms change sooner or later, yet the ability to retain the original concept is a virtue for those of the strong spirit alone.” The cold unity of this opus is the creative synergy of M8L8TH’s frontman and the ones of the young alchemist of TRANSISTORWALD. The total length of the album reaches 112 minutes, which are unproporionally devided unto three chapters: the 1st of them is the album named “Eternal Winter”, the 2nd part is the debut demo from 2006 and the final chapter of opus is the recording entitled “Mindnight Forest” which was accomplished in 2001 and thus became the first ever musical creation of Whisper of Runes project.Read more -
